Rotunda Contractors Ltd prides itself in its team of young and energetic professionals with diverse talents and skills. We’re led by three directors who are proven entrepreneurs and experienced engineers with a number of ventures to their names. Our leadership structure offers a dynamic atmosphere in which talented, creative & motivated people thrive. We identify and nurture talent, celebrate achievement, acknowledge and reward hard work. We have a team of ambitious, vibrant, young and experienced professionals with the ability to keep pace with changing trends & client requirements. Kiplagat Chelelgo (M.Sc-Civil., B.Tech-Civil, Grad.Eng-EBK, Grad.Eng-EEK)
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Chelelgo is currently pursuing his PhD in Civil Engineering at Pan African University of Science, Technology & Innovation (PAUSTI). He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Moi University. His expertise lies in the areas of highway engineering and construction management processes. He previously worked with the Ministry of Roads, Orbit Enterprises Ltd, S.S. Mehta & Sons Ltd and Raman Enterprises Ltd., where his technical and management skills were honed. He has also lectured in Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology, Moi University and currently at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.

His entrepreneurial spirit was manifested with the incorporation of Checonex Investments Ltd, a school supplies business and Navro Investments Ltd, an enterprise in the beauty industry and Africon Builders Ltd. a construction firm based in Nairobi.

Philip Kiplang’at Kirui (B.Tech-Civil. Grad.Eng-EBK)
Director (Finance & Administration)

Mr. Kirui holds a Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Moi University. He was previously engaged by Epco Builders Ltd as Site Agent and Policol International Company Ltd as a Projects Manager. He has also worked as a Mining Engineer at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources. He founded Kirj Enterprises Ltd, a successful supplies company and is a shareholder in Africon Builders Ltd.

Joshua Kipsoi Boiwo (B.Tech-Civil, Grad.Eng-EBK)
Director (Logistics & Projects)

Mr. Boiwo holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Moi University and has enormous experience in roads and building construction. He previously worked with Devshi Bhai Building Contractors Ltd as a Site Agent, Integrated Property Management and with the Ministry of Roads as Assistant Roads Engineer. He, like Mr. Kirui, has worked with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources as a Mining Engineer. He is a Director and shareholder at Checonex Investments Ltd and Africon Builders Ltd.

Angela Jebichii Kiptoo (MBA, LLB, PGDip, CPS (K)) - Legal Officer
Ms. Kiptoo obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Moi University and went on to graduate with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kenyatta University. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (PGDip) from Kenya School of Law and is a Certified Public Secretary (CPS (K)).
Angela is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. She has worked with Kaplan & Stratton Advocates, Muthoga Gaturu & Co. Advocates, Miller & Co. Advocates, Arusei & Co. Advocates and Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). She has a wealth of experience in conveyance, litigation and company law.

Silas Boiwo Tuitoek (MA, BA, CPS (K)) Finance Office
Mr. Tuitoek holds a Master of Arts (M.A -Economics) degree from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics & Statistics-International Trade & Finance) from Egerton University. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA (K)). Silas honed his accounting skills while working with reputable organizations that include World Food Program (WFP), International Labour Organization (ILO), CFC Financial Services and Kenya Bureau of Standards. His expertise lies in the areas of financial accounting, where he has tackled development of operational plans, financial reports, taxation and bank reconciliations.

Ronald Kipkurui Tarus (B.Sc., Dip) - Surveyor
Mr. Tarus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatics Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta university of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT) and also holds a National Diploma in Land Surveying from Kenya Institute of Surveying and Mapping (KISM). Ronald previously worked with Gibb Africa Ltd, Ministry of Lands and Settlements, Gichuki & Associates and Geodev (K) Ltd and got experienced in GIS, Engineering Surveys, Hydrographic Surveys, Cadastral surveys and Land Surveying,

Below the senior staff members is a team of dedicated support staff members. These include Mr. Stephen Kiplagat (Accountant), Ms. Sylvia J. Cheruiyot (Procurement Officer), Mr. Christopher Chesang (Construction Manager), Mr. Andrew Kimosop (Sr. Foreman) Mr Augustine C. Chesire (Sr. Foreman) and a number of drivers, welders, masons, carpenters, painters, steelfixers and general labourers
